The context
We previously had a Sage solution, E-Cash, and had a lot of difficulty whenever we needed additional features developed in the tool.
The needs
E-Cash wasn’t enough; we were doing a lot of work in Excel. We approached large publishers such as Sage but ran into the usual difficulties: restrictions, compatibility issues, development work required, and so on.
With the new banking standards, we needed a complete overhaul of tools that no longer met them. E-Finances was chosen quickly. It has always been much simpler than with other publishers. Their customer approach is interesting, and they truly understand the cash management profession.
The project
The installation went very well and the announced timelines were met. The migration from Sage to E-Finances took one week and all the data was kept. We are always listened to, and the people we deal with know the profession very well: they listen to and study our requests.
The follow-up
It’s a very good partnership; we know each other well. It’s responsive and we get help straight away. Above all, we have a person on the phone; we’re not just a number on a ticket waiting hours to be called back. It’s this close relationship that we really appreciate.
The benefits
- Budgeting. What’s really interesting is that we can break down budget codes and customise them, and it’s very simple.
- The current accounts module. Previously, the accounting manager handled current accounts in Excel, but with more than 70 bank accounts it was quite complicated and a source of errors. Now we have all our bank exchanges and the full history.
In conclusion
The E-Trésorerie solution offers three advantages:
- Simplicity. With E-Trésorerie, it’s very user-friendly and functional. E-Trésorerie gets straight to the point.
- Performance. I really wanted something that performs well and, above all, isn’t overly complex.
- Full web solution. We’re more and more mobile; we no longer need to be at our desk every morning to manage cash.
