The needs
We were previously with Sage. In 2019, we decided to choose a new ERP better suited to our business. We took this opportunity to consult several banking communication software providers. In practice, we needed a tool to send and receive payments. It had to be simple, efficient and, above all, compatible with cash management, especially for our cash forecasts.
The challenges
Our main challenge was to find not just software to send and receive payments, but a tool giving us a global view of our finances and able to integrate cash management. We also wanted software that was accessible and easy to use for my team and myself, to avoid something overly complex.
The choice
We consulted several software publishers, including Sage and E-Finances, to compare the offers on the market. We placed great importance on the demo. A decisive factor was my own experience: before joining Badet Clément, I already used E-Finances solutions, so I could assess their value, whether for banking communication or cash forecasting. Budget was of course taken into account, but there was little difference between the publishers.
The support
I found the E-Finances people, whether sales or consultants, professional and above all very responsive. I’ve always had good exchanges, and my contacts are available when I need further information. What’s pleasant is dealing with professionals who master the subject, which inevitably saves us a great deal of time compared with other competitors.
This responsiveness also weighed in our decision to choose E-Finances. In the end, we all agreed within the decision-making team: my CFO, my CEO and myself.
Project success
For me, it is almost impossible to succeed if the initial configuration isn’t done perfectly. This step can seem time-consuming, but it actually delivers an excellent return on investment when using the software.
In conclusion
To sum up, I would describe my experience in three words: simplicity, efficiency and responsiveness.
